About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team in Gothenburg. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our emergency care solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work with technology that truly makes a difference in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services and APIs for emergency care applications
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and domain experts to deliver high-quality solutions
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
• Maintain and improve existing codebases with a focus on quality and security
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in software development
  
  

Requirements

• Solid experience in backend development with .NET and C#
• Good understanding of React.js and how backend services integrate with modern frontend frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Jira, and working in Scrum or other agile methodologies
• Strong understanding of system architecture, microservices, and API design
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
• Fluent in Swedish and English
  
  

Nice to have

• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 FHIR, OpenEHR, and related data models
• Experience designing and building scalable EMR systems or other clinical applications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, including deployment and monitoring tools
