As part of IT Services (ITS), you will be a key driver and coordinator in ongoing improvements to SSE’s IT environment. You will lead projects through the full lifecycle, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams. Your role will involve bridging the gap between technicians, developers, and decision-makers, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion. You will manage a mix of small iterative improvements and larger, long-term initiatives, each requiring a tailored approach and strong stakeholder collaboration
- Act as a central link between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in service delivery and IT performance.
- Ensure structured project execution using recognized methodologies.

- About 2–6 years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
- Proven ability to structure and lead IT projects end-to-end.
- Broad technical understanding and genuine interest in IT and digital solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (Swedish is considered a plus and significant advantage).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira or similar.
SSE follows an office-first principle to support collaboration and knowledge sharing. This means you are expected to work on-site at our Stockholm campus for the majority of the week.
We welcome applicants who already live and work legally in Sweden, as well as those who are able to relocate and obtain the required work permit.
Other This is a permanent position, and a 6 months probationary period applies. We are working with work-related tests, such as personality, language, and problem-solving tests, in our recruitments to, as objectively as possible, map factors that are important in our roles.
