We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Java Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the server-side logic that powers our web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and performance of the applications, using your expertise in Java to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure backend solutions. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues, maintaining code quality, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
- Develop and maintain complex backend architectures for scalable web applications.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Implement security and data protection measures to ensure application integrity.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
- Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Liaise with product managers to understand requirements and provide technical insights.
- Continuously research and implement new technologies to enhance application performance.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components, ensuring timely delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture patterns.
- Excellent understanding of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, is advantageous.
