Position Title: Agile / Project Manager

Overview

The Agile / Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies. This role oversees planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of projects while ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem-solver, and collaborative leader with experience delivering technology or business transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget performance.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and issues proactively.
  • Ensure project documentation, reporting, and governance standards are met.
2. Agile / Scrum Leadership
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews).
  • Work with Product Owners to refine backlogs and prioritise deliverables.
  • Coach teams in Agile best practices to improve velocity, quality, and collaboration.
  • Track sprint progress using Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Present project updates to leadership and project sponsors.
  • Ensure alignment across business, product, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Facilitate decision-making and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Resource & Team Management
  • Coordinate cross-functional team members, vendors, and partners.
  • Resolve blockers and ensure teams have the required resources to succeed.
  • Support team cohesion and remove impediments to progress.
5. Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery processes and Agile maturity.
  • Implement best practices in project management and Agile frameworks.
  • Contribute to PMO standards, templates, and process optimisation initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in project management, Agile delivery, or PMO roles.
  • Experience managing software development, IT, or digital transformation projects.
  • Solid understanding of Scrum, Agile, and project management methodologies.
  • Certifications such as Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP are highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with project collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Trello, Asana, Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
