An International Engineering Consultancy Company is seeking a highly experienced Big Data Specialist to join our Asset Management project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, analytical capabilities, and demonstrated success in data-driven decision-making within large-scale infrastructure or asset management environments.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize big data architectures and pipelines.
- Collect, structure, and analyze large datasets to support asset performance and lifecycle planning.
- Integrate data from multiple platforms and enterprise systems.
- Build dashboards, predictive models, and analytical tools to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Ensure data governance, quality, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, asset management, and IT teams.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Big Data, Data Engineering, or Advanced Analytics.
- Proven experience with big data tools/platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL, and BI/reporting tools.
- Experience working on major infrastructure, utilities, asset management, or FM projects is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior Qatar/GCC experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in English language.
