The Team

Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to design technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
• Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) for deployment and scalability
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
• Contribute to agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (8/11/17+)
• Proficient in Kotlin for backend development
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and microservices architecture
• Experience building RESTful APIs and asynchronous services
• Solid understanding of OOP, functional programming, and design patterns
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
