We are looking for a proactive and technically sound L1 Support Engineer to join our DevOps and Cloud operations team The ideal candidate will provide first level support across CICD tools cloud infrastructure and DNSCDN services ensuring smooth and secure operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L1 support for Jenkins and GitHub issues including build failures and repository access
- Monitor and maintain CICD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments
- Support and manage AWS services including
- EC2 instance health and connectivity
- S3 bucket access and storage issues
- Auto Scaling group alerts and configurations
- IAM role and policy troubleshooting
- CloudFormation template deployment and error handling
- Perform DNS management tasks including record updates and resolution issues
- Assist in managing Akamai CDN configurations and performance monitoring
- Respond to support tickets and incidents within defined SLAs
- Escalate unresolved issues to L2L3 teams with proper documentation
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure issue resolution and knowledge sharing
Required Skills:
- Basic administration and troubleshooting experience with Jenkins and GitHub
- Understanding of CICD concepts and pipeline workflows
- Handson experience with AWS EC2 S3 Auto Scaling IAM CloudFormation
- Familiarity with DNS record types A CNAME MX TXT
- Exposure to Akamai CDN or similar content delivery platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and documentation skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science IT or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support or DevOps environment
Ability to work in shifts and handle on call responsibilities
