Looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer role in an AI startup?
Whether you’ve recently graduated from university or a bootcamp, or already have some early commercial experience, this could be a great next step.
Techmunity have exclusively partnered with a fast-growing SaaS startup in the hospitality tech space. They’re hiring three Junior Full Stack Engineers to help build an AI-driven operating system used by well-known high-street coffee shops and quick-service restaurants.
You’ll work across a full TypeScript stack (Node, NestJS, React), building event-driven services, real-time operational features, and new AI-powered tools.
You’ll be joining a senior engineering team full of strong mentors, led by a highly experienced Engineering Manager (ex-CTO, ex-UK Gov technical lead) with 15+ years of full-stack, cloud, AI and team-building experience. A rare chance to learn fast under a genuine technical leader.
What you’ll do
• Build full-stack features using TypeScript, React, Node and NestJS
• Turn product requirements into reliable, testable software used in live stores
• Take part in code reviews and pair programming with senior engineers
• Help improve platform performance and usability
• Use modern developer tools, including AI assistants, to accelerate workflows
What they’re looking for
• Experience building web applications with TypeScript (projects, internships or coursework)
• Exposure to React and/or Node/NestJS and an understanding of modern web app structure
• Solid engineering fundamentals: data structures, APIs, Git, testing basics
• A GitHub or portfolio showing real code is highly valued
• Comfortable working onsite in Holborn, five days a week
Nice to have
• Cloud basics (AWS) or DevOps exposure (GitHub Actions)
• Previous internship or junior role in a SaaS startup
• Interest in AI tools or hospitality tech
Salary up to £40,000, with VISA sponsorship available. These roles are 5 days a week onsite in Holborn.
