Senior Software Development Engineer

Our 'Corporate Manufacturing Engineering' department forms the interface between Research & Development and Operations and represents the technical engineering competence within Sonova Operations.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced C# / Python software developer to strengthen our team by implementing and maintaining our measurement data services. Data are collected from our operation sites around the globe and consolidated in Switzerland for further analysis and reporting services.

Your tasks:

• Develop, test & maintain large scale data pipeline using C#, Python and T-SQL
• Backend and Frontend development in .NET environment (ASP.NET, REST)
• Integration and deployment of data pipeline components (Windows, Linux)
• Exploratory data analysis and reporting
• Close collaboration with the stakeholders within Sonova
• Create and maintain the required technical documentation according to external and internal regulation
  
  
  

Your profile:

• University degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in C# and Python
• Experience in data analysis and visualization
• Experience in client server web development in .NET environment
• Good understanding of RDBMS (MS SQL) and NoSQL database systems with experience in writing and optimizing T-SQL queries
• Proven knowledge in SW architecture and development principles like SOLID
• Familiar in building CI/CD pipelines and experienced in agile project management
• Knowhow in machine learning or AI would be a plus
• Experience in Microservices and Messaging Systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka) could be a plus
• Good command of written and spoken English; communication skills in German is a plus
