The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join a busy team in our Rose Park office. With a focus on Brownfield projects across our 5 process plants, we design and manage all our projects inhouse. You’ll manage Project Engineers and have a few projects live at any one time, that require strong communication with site teams and contractors. The projects can include a wide variety such as R&D, modernisation, automation, installations, site expansion, process optimisation and end of life projects, and much more.
The position requires technical and people leadership, strong attention to detail, problem solving, time management skills, effective communication with stakeholders, and the ability to manage and coordinate with geographically diverse sites within Australia. In addition, due to our continued growth globally, if you choose too; the opportunity to lead or get involved in international projects across the USA, Canada and Europe is also available.
About The Role
- Geographically diverse process plants in SA, Vic and NSW
- Multiple projects live at any one time
- GMP and HACCP environment
- All aspects of the project management inhouse, so you can develop your skills
- Stakeholder engagement and reporting
What We Are Looking For
- Formal degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Mechatronic Engineering
- Significant experience with hands-on project management
- Proven track record of project completion from initiation to handover, within time and budget
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration, automation, wastewater treatment plant and hydraulics
- Experience leading both brownfield and greenfield projects
- Familiarity with a number of project management methodologies and tools
- Good working knowledge AutoCAD, MS project etc
- Capability to co-ordinate multiple projects at a time
- Experience in a GMP and HACCP manufacturing environment, preferably Food or Pharmaceutical
- Able to travel to various sites as required
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
