Job Title: Full stack developer (Java – React)

Work Location: Brussels, Belgium

Experience: 6+ yrs of relevant experience.

Eligibility: Candidates must be based in Belgium or the Netherlands.

Language Requirements: English – Fluent, Dutch or French preferable You will have the opportunity to work in a team that develops features E2E, including the frontend parts in a mobile application and the backend parts in a cloud system (you will have the opportunity to work in both).

Function description:

As a skilled Java Developer, You'd work in an Agile squad where you’ll be responsible of DevOps activities by • Translating requirements into high quality code • Designing, building, and maintaining high performance, reusable, and reliable applications o Backend part: Java and Spring Framework (this will be most of your activities) • Working with outside data sources and APIs • Being involved in the Ops activities (set up of CI/CD pipelines).must have the "Agile mindset"

Technical experience: Mandatory:

• Understanding of the OO principles, DDD, design patterns and best practices such as SOLID principles. Write readable code and do refactoring where necessary. Practical experience in Test Driven Development (TDD)

• Proven knowledge of Java, Spring, Maven DB, Restful API’s with swagger (yaml), VCS (Git), Continuous Integration/Deployment principles (Jenkins or alternative), SAST (such as SonarQube, Fortify, NexusIQ or alternative), Docker and Groovy.

• You participate in API automation testing because you consider it part of your development activities Preferable: React, Node.js
