DevOps / Release & Deployment Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Release & Deployment Manager to drive, optimize, and safeguard the release lifecycle of our information systems. This role sits at the core of our engineering operations, ensuring seamless deployments, strong governance, and high-quality delivery across environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage software configuration, build processes, and continuous integration pipelines.

• Establish, document, and maintain standardized procedures for deploying information systems.

• Oversee and maintain development infrastructure, including application servers.

• Support and guide development teams through cloud migration initiatives (AWS).

• Manage automated CI/CD pipelines and ensure efficient, reliable release management.

• Track and control ticket flows, release activities, and related documentation.

• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements for stability, scalability, and efficiency.

• Collaborate with business analysts, customers, users, project leaders, and developers to ensure smooth delivery.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong experience in software deployment and release management.

• Proficiency with build and deployment tools such as Maven.

• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira).

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation tools (e.g., Bamboo, GitLab).

• Experience with cloud deployment, particularly AWS.

• Familiarity with application servers such as Tomcat.

• Understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS).

Specific Expertise Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience with CI/CD processes.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Release Management.
