Alice & Bob is a deep-tech company pioneering new breakthroughs in quantum computing. Joining us means working at the intersection of science and innovation, alongside passionate scientists dedicated to solving some of the most complex challenges in technology.
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Full Stack Developer Intern to join our Cloud team. The intern will be integrated into the team's workflow and will primarily focus on developing and implementing new features within the ABDB platform. This will involve work across the full technology stack. This internship offers a chance to work on a mission-critical, widely used application that underpins the company's R&D efforts. The intern will join the Cloud Team and contribute directly to the platform's evolution by implementing new features, enhancing existing components, and ensuring scalability.
Responsibilities
- Feature Development: - Design, develop, and test new functionalities for the ABDB Web Application (UI/UX) to improve data navigation and usability. - Implement new endpoints and business logic within the backend REST API to support new data access patterns and features. - Contribute to the enhancement of the Python client used for programmatic data access.
- System Enhancement & Scalability: - Assist the team in optimizing database queries and improving overall application performance. - Contribute to the modernization of existing application components and assist with the migration of legacy features.
- Collaboration & Documentation: - Actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions. - Write and maintain clear technical documentation for developed features and APIs.
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student eager to work on a high-impact, real-world application with a diverse technology stack.
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Duration: Available for a 5-6 months internship (ideally starting in Q1 2026).
- Technical Skills (Required/Highly Recommended): - Strong foundation in Python programming language. - Familiarity with web development frameworks (frontend like React/Vue/Angular and/or backend like FastAPI/Flask/Django). - Good understanding of database concepts (SQL, data modeling). - Experience with Git for version control.
- Soft Skills: - Proactive, self-motivated, and a good team player. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Language: Professional-level English proficiency, both written and spoken, is required for technical communication.
- 1 day off per month
- Half of transportation cost coverage (as per French law)
