Huawei Radio Network Architect

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proven experience in project, technical support and equipment implementation for SRAN network elements (BSC, BTS, eNodeB and gNodeB) with a deep understanding of Core Network elements the Radio nodes shall interwork with.
• Excellent knowledge about 3GPP specification. More precisely, specification requirements and interfaces of GERAN/NB-IOT/C-IoT/5G NR, radio performance, physical layer, layer 2 and layer 3 RR, specification of the access network interfaces (Abis, A, Gb, S1 and X2, N1, N2, N3, Xn).
• Excellent IP and related upper layer transport and security protocols (TCP, UDP, GTP, RTP, IKE, CMP) knowledge and main routing protocols.
• Excellent experience in HW and SW validation and acceptance process (support to LAB verification, FOA, KPI monitoring and analysis, troubleshooting, delivery and update of customized operational procedures and guidelines).
• Excellent knowledge of wireless network implementation and operations services.
• Good knowledge (with experience) of Radio Planning, Dimensioning (HLD and LLD) and Optimization processes and issues. Understanding of network interface protocols and protocol analyzers such as Nemo for mobile handset, wireshark and radio vendor’s internal tracing tool.
• Excellent knowledge of different RAN solution and other vendors (Hardware, Software).

Huawei SRAN specific competence:

• Proven deep knowledge of Huawei RAN solution (expert level) ;
• Proven deep knowledge of Huawei Offline Tools (expert level);
• Proven deep knowledge of Huawei WEB LMT Tracer (on BSC, NodeB, eNodeB, gNodeB) (expert level);
• Proven deep knowledge of Huawei MAE E2E Tracer (for BSC, B, eNodeB, gNodeB) (expert level);
• Proven deep knowledge of Huawei Huawei CME (expert level);
• Deep knowledge of the actual architectures implemented in VF-IT on 2G , including controllers and nodes.
• Deep knowledge of the actual node architectures implemented in VF-IT on 4G and 5G technologies.
• Very good knowledge of the VF-IT internal processes to design, plan and accept new Huawei Radio products.

Tools competences required

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office package;
• HP ALM Quality Center;
• Vodafone Testcenter Management Tool – TCMT;
• NNUANDA/Xmserver Tool;
• VodkA (Vodafone KPI Analyzer);
