• Fully Remote - Client Location – Latvia Riga
• Pay Rate 250 euros per day
• 12 month rolling contract
• Fully Remote with onsite 1 or 2 days per month
• Spoken Languages Latvian & English
• EU citizens with EU Passport

Our client is a large IT Services company working with an EU Agency to develop and maintain company applications developed in Java. They are seeking a freelance Senior Software Engineer to work in a cross functional team both developing new application and maintaining legacy applications.

There are two main projects, one is focussed on maintenance of EJB, Jakarta, Java 17 and React, the other is more focussed on a move to More modern tools with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and React

Experience Required:

• 7 years Java and with as many versions as possible, EJBs and modern ones
• Typescript - (React, VueJS or Angular).
• Strong back end java
• Java 17 / / EJB / Jakarta JEE, J2EE, EJB, Jakarta, any other monolithic/legacy versions
• Spring Boot and React
• RESTful APIs and microservices
• Kafka
• AWS or Azure
• Jenkins/Docker experience
