We are looking for an experienced PHP Software Engineer in Vilnius to join a new Product Development team focused on building a global web platform for the car rental and parking industries.

You will have the opportunity to realize your ideas from the very first sketch to the final product. Work with the latest technologies, actively contribute to the creation of innovative solutions, and see your input valued at every stage.

What you will do:

• Take ownership of projects from ideation to production, contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Develop a global web platform using Symfony and write API integrations with other systems
• Proactively connect and collaborate with team members to solve problems and engage in technical discussions
• Ensure technical standards and practices are followed within the team
• Share knowledge and mentor other engineers
• Ensure systems run quickly, reliably, and can scale as the user base grows
• Lead initiatives and drive action

What we expect:

• Experience developing global web products
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including code versioning, testing, and CI/CD
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience building REST APIs
• Ability to independently initiate and implement solutions
• Experience working with caching systems and queue management
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud solutions

Salary: €4400–6400 gross per month.
