Damia Group is partnering with an innovative company at the forefront of next-generation aerospace communication technologies. We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our client’s fast-growing engineering team in Luxembourg. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems that enable high-performance, scalable, and secure data processing for space-related applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting high-throughput communication systems.
• Develop efficient data processing pipelines and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, hardware engineers, and system architects.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and robustness of backend infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning.
• Contribute to continuous integration, deployment automation, and infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in backend development.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go (both are strong assets).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of networking protocols or aerospace/telecom domains is a plus.
