As a UX Designer at North you will partner with internal and external teams to understand, craft, prototype, measure and improve the best digital experiences in the world. You will be a good fit if you are a natural problem-solver with a passion for understanding the complexity of human motivations and behaviors, combining UX/UI thinking with motion expertise to shape concepts that guide product strategy and inspire teams.
What you will do:
- Research: dive deep into a problem space, generating hypotheses, developing research briefings and performing generative research, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Conceptualize: turn research insights into user experiences, designing information architectures, navigation systems, wireframes, and specifying functionality through user stories.
- Implement: design and animate concept prototypes, styleframes, and interaction ideas that bring the vision to life. Produce videos and motion pieces to communicate and “sell” concepts clearly to stakeholders and clients, ensuring ideas are understood and aligned before entering production.
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI, interaction, or motion design.
- Ability to articulate design rationale and lead conversations around ideas and processes. You can articulate the ‘why’ and lead discussions around your process, explorations, and conclusions.
- Strong knowledge of UX principles and best practices, including understanding when and where different methodologies and techniques should be incorporated into the process.
- Proven hands-on experience in qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
- Proficiency in After Effects and Figma.
- Have UX copywriting knowledge.
- Have experience working in Agile environments.
- Are passionate about trends and developments in design & technology.
