We are looking for a Software Developer with strong experience in Model-Based Development for an advanced R&D assignment within the automotive industry. You will work on developing core functionalities for next-generation vehicle platforms, using Simulink and AUTOSAR-compliant workflows.
Your profile
- A degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer or Automotive Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in model-based software development within the automotive domain
- Excellent knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink, Stateflow, and Embedded Coder
- Deep understanding of AUTOSAR architecture, including SW-Cs, RTE interfaces and BSW integration
- Experience generating production-ready AUTOSAR-compliant code from Simulink models
- Familiarity with Simulink libraries, custom blocks and S-Functions
- Ability to design modular, reusable and scalable software components
- A structured, analytical and collaborative way of working
- Meritorious experience includes functional safety (ISO 26262), CI/CD integration for MBD, and performance optimization of Simulink models.
What you will do
As a Model-Based Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Simulink models that enable functional growth in the vehicle’s core computing system.
Tasks include:
- Developing new features in Simulink / Stateflow aligned with AUTOSAR standards
- Designing and structuring application-layer software components (SW-Cs)
- Configuring and generating AUTOSAR-compliant C-code using Embedded Coder
- Ensuring traceability from requirements to model design
- Performing peer reviews and continuous model improvements
- Supporting integration by delivering well-structured, verified models
Deliveries
- Simulink models aligned with AUTOSAR architecture and development guidelines
- Modular and reusable design ensuring scalability and maintainability
- Verified and production-ready generated code through Embedded Coder
- Documentation according to project standards and model review results
