Assignment description:


  • For our client we are looking for a UX Designer/Design Lead.


Description:


  • In need for a UX Designer who can work broadly across Interaction Design, Visual Design, and UX Research.
  • This role requires strong competence in UX strategy and Leadership, including mentoring junior designers and guiding cross-functional teams in user-centric design practices.
  • The designer will focus on a customer support platform and should be highly skilled in planning and facilitating UX activities such as user interviews, usability testing, and workshops.
  • They will play a key role in elevating UX maturity across our digital platforms.
  • Experience working within agile teams and designing for multiple devices and touchpoints is essential.
  • The Product Team is based in Gothenburg, and we expect the selected candidate to work regularly on-site with the team.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Orchestrate all UX activities to drive the development of our digital solutions ensuring valuable, desirable and intuitive experiences.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, product owners, developers, and other stakeholders, fostering effective collaboration to deliver business value aligned with user needs.
  • Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Elicit and translate user needs into concrete design artefacts such as wireframes and prototypes at various levels of fidelity, and run user evaluations
  • Elevate the overall maturity level of UX practices, consistently monitoring usability performance across digital platforms.
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing user experiences for various devices across diverse digital environments.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and experience in fast-paced, iterative development cycles.
  • People leadership, building and growing the team’s skills, professional development, performance, and growth.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of successfully leading design teams.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Experience from agile development methodologies and collaboration with developers.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
