About The Role
As a trusted advisor and strategic support to senior management, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of our organization. This role will require excellence in building cross-functional relationships with stakeholders from all local departments and regional ones as well.
Reporting to the CFO, you will actively engage with key stakeholders across various departments to provide insightful financial analysis, support decision-making, and drive business performance.
The mission of the Financial Controller is to provide Smart Analytics that can be turned into actionable insights, enabling management to effectively solve business problems. Smart analytics are:

- Verifiable: Replicable and verifiable;
- Actionable: True to what it claims to represent and beneficial to the user;

Some of the responsibilities will include:
- Design and perform ad-hoc analysis, incorporating checks and balances to ensure data integrity;
- Review and challenge KPIs and results;
- Monitor financial and operational performance via KPIs and automated/self-serviced reports to support business decision-making;
- Analyze and explain variances between budgeted and actual financial results;
- Articulate the reasons and financial consequences of management decisions with medium and long-term implications;
- Act as a subject matter expert and apply innovative system implications to support data quality and improve business performance;
- Support and coach others in the functionality and application of technological tools;
- Proactively seek innovative solutions to optimize the process of data analysis and modeling.
- A university degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines is preferred;
- Thorough knowledge of accounting, financial planning, and analysis concepts and principles;
- 5 years of experience in the finance department of a multinational company;
- Strong background in Controlling and Budget Analysis, with hands-on experience in finance systems;
- IFRS knowledge will be a big plus.
- Experience in one of the Big Fours (audit companies)
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to put yourself in the shoes of the stakeholders you will meet, influence and support.
- Excellent communication skills and an empathy of sensitive topics and change impacts.
- Ability to synthesize key information on complex topics and to communicate with ease to all levels of the organization, across multiple locations and functions;
- This role will be expected to write and speak in English. French is a plus.
