JOB PURPOSE
The Associate Logistics role supports the efficiency and optimization of supply chain operations for Retail Discount. The position ensures smooth movement of goods from suppliers to distribution hubs and stores, enabling timely replenishment and accurate logistics execution. The role also involves coordination with sourcing hubs, monitoring inventory, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute supply chain and inventory plans.
- Support supply chain solutions to meet operational needs.
- Identify risks to ensure safe handling and inventory accuracy.
- Manage private label supply chain and inventory processes.
- Coordinate with sourcing hubs to ensure cost-efficient logistics.
- Monitor operations to reduce delays and prevent stockouts.
- Stay updated on customs regulations and maintain compliance databases.
- Collaborate with teams and vendors to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related function.
- Strong business communication and data analysis skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory and logistics processes.
