Senior Project Manager

As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest financial organisations, I am seeking for a Project Manager for a 6+ months contract in Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and maintaining a clear project plan for the full project (including all the workstreams), which includes a concrete & comprehensive list of deliverables with timelines.
• Align and prioritize the requirements of the various Investment teams and gather feedback for further improvements.
• Ensuring that the project plan/implementation plan is brought to the Steering Committee for approval (to reach agreement on its purpose, objectives, milestones and scope).
• Working with the Business Leads and IT Value Stream that the timelines are met (and potential risks to the timelines flagged to the Steering Committee).
• Ensuring that the Project Progress dashboard is updated bi-weekly ahead of the Steering Committee meeting and internal project team meetings.

Experience:

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• More than 8 years of relevant work experience in the field of asset management with hands-on experience in managing projects in complex, large organizations
• Vast project management experience; Knowledge of the agile way of working and/or the Microsoft Dynamics platform is an advantage
• You are confident and comfortable presenting to management and can drive a project agenda, cutting through discussions of operational detail to synthesize an overriding delivery focus. You are able to challenge leadership and hold them accountable
