About The Role

The Digital Designer is a vital member of Under Armour’s Digital Creative Team, responsible for elevating the online consumer experience across various digital channels. This role involves designing innovative, user-centric digital assets for the website, email campaigns, display advertising, paid social media, and loyalty programs. The Digital Designer will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams—including website, performance marketing, and creative leadership—to develop compelling digital narratives that align with brand standards and resonate with target audiences. Reporting to the Creative Director – Digital, this position demands a highly skilled, versatile designer with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, and the ability to adapt to evolving consumer behaviors. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, creative excellence, and a consumer-first approach to drive engagement, conversions, and brand loyalty. The Digital Designer must be proactive, innovative, and capable of delivering high-quality work both independently and within team settings, ensuring all digital assets are on-brand, optimized for performance, and aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding portfolio demonstrating best-in-class digital design solutions
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a digital design role
  • BFA or relevant degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field
  • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy
  • Knowledge of e-commerce, email marketing, social media, and performance marketing channels
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, video editing software (After Effects, Premiere) is a plus
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and front-end development basics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Passion for sports, fitness, and retail industries
  • Awareness of current cultural and design trends, including generative AI and social content creation

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative and engaging digital assets for website, email campaigns, display ads, paid social, and loyalty programs
  • Collaborate with creative leadership, marketing teams, external agencies, and partners to develop cohesive digital experiences
  • Leverage data and insights to inform design decisions that enhance user engagement and conversion rates
  • Ensure all digital content aligns with brand standards and communicates the brand’s DNA effectively
  • Stay updated on emerging digital trends, tools, and best practices to continually elevate the quality of work
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual concepts to communicate ideas effectively
  • Support the integration of motion graphics and video content into digital campaigns when applicable
  • Participate in creative reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards of quality
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and project goals
