Scrum Master

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Long Island City, NY that is seeking a Scrum Master to guide our product and development teams toward high levels of Agile maturity. This servant-leader role focuses on enabling teams to deliver value, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

• Coach teams on Scrum best practices and Agile principles
• Partner with Product Owners to manage and refine backlogs
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies and keep teams focused on goals
• Remove impediments and help teams deliver high-quality outcomes
• Promote a culture of technical discipline and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to enhance organizational agility
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP)
• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience
• 3+ years as a Scrum Master with Agile software development teams
• Strong understanding of Lean-Agile principles and practices
• Experience with tools like JIRA, TFS, or Rally
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with project management frameworks and Microsoft technologies
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and influence positive change
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
