Kforce has a client in Long Island City, NY that is seeking a Scrum Master to guide our product and development teams toward high levels of Agile maturity. This servant-leader role focuses on enabling teams to deliver value, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities:
- Coach teams on Scrum best practices and Agile principles
- Partner with Product Owners to manage and refine backlogs
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies and keep teams focused on goals
- Remove impediments and help teams deliver high-quality outcomes
- Promote a culture of technical discipline and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to enhance organizational agility
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP)
- 5+ years of Scrum Master experience
- 3+ years as a Scrum Master with Agile software development teams
- Strong understanding of Lean-Agile principles and practices
- Experience with tools like JIRA, TFS, or Rally
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with project management frameworks and Microsoft technologies
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and influence positive change
