Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer who lives and breathes new technology. This role is for someone who not only builds AI models but understands the full lifecycle of an AI system—from concept to deployment—and knows how to optimize it on cutting-edge hardware. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance AI solutions that leverage Supermicro's state-of-the-art server and cluster technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about the "newest trends in AI applications", and is driven to find the most efficient ways to run them at scale.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, production-grade AI systems, managing the complete MLOps lifecycle (data ingestion, preprocessing, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring).
• Profile, benchmark, and optimize AI/ML workloads (both training and inference) to extract maximum performance from Supermicro's advanced hardware platforms. By optimizing AI applications to run faster and more efficiently on Supermicro hardware, you directly contribute to sales and prove our technical leadership.
• Actively research and implement the latest AI trends, models, and frameworks (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models, new training techniques) to ensure our solutions remain best-in-class.
• Enable Customers: You will help build the "recipes" that allow our customers to successfully deploy their own AI solutions on our platforms.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience (2+ years) as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar.
• Expertise in Python and deep proficiency with modern AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
• Experience with the MLOps lifecycle, including tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Kubeflow, or similar.
• Understanding of NVIDIA GPUs and the CUDA ecosystem. Experience with performance profiling tools (e.g., Nsight, TensorRT) is critical.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning and efficient inference.
• A genuine curiosity and passion for new technology, with a proactive drive to learn and experiment.
