Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end management of IT infrastructure projects, from initial scoping and budgeting to execution, testing, and handover.
- Develop project plans, timelines, cost estimates, and resource allocations in alignment with organisational goals.
- Oversee upgrades, migrations, and implementations related to networks, data centres, hardware, cloud platforms, and security systems.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Identify project risks and apply mitigation strategies while maintaining business continuity.
- Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and prepare status reports for leadership.
- Manage project documentation, including requirements, technical specifications, and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support change management activities and facilitate user readiness during transitions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5–8 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects within medium to large organisations.
Proven experience in network, server, storage, cloud, and cybersecurity environments.
Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Experience working with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and service management processes (ITIL certification preferred).
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
Strong technical understanding of enterprise-level infrastructure environments.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), network security, data centre operations, and disaster recovery solutions.
Ability to analyse complex technical issues and translate them into business-friendly language.
Vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
Excellent planning, budgeting, and financial tracking capabilities.
Strong leadership and team-coordination abilities.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organised.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
