We're looking for a Senior Product Designer with deep UI/UX expertise, excellent technical skills, and a passion for user-centered design principles. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role for someone who thrives on translating complex problems into intuitive, beautiful, and effective user experiences.

You'll be a creative voice on one of our cross-functional product teams, working closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and deliver customer-centric designs. Your work will span the full design process, from user research and ideation to creating beautiful interfaces and usability validation.

About Working At Space Inch

  • Our team is around 70+ people, primarily based in Croatia, but also members in South America, Serbia, and the US; the product team mostly being in the US, and engineering in Croatia and Brazil
  • We are remote-first, but occasional travel may be required, e.g. for annual company retreats in Croatia
  • We work on a mix of end-to-end development and staff augmentation projects
  • We strongly support work-life balance for our team members, even though we work in different time zones

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer
  • Proven success designing for both mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms
  • Expertise with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Strong understanding of design systems, component libraries, and responsive design
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that communicate ideas clearly
  • Strong grasp of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and UX best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong written and spoken English skills (native or near-native fluency)
  • Must be LATAM based, applicants from other countries will not be taken into consideration

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design for major product features, ensuring solutions are intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with business goals
  • Translate business and user requirements into elegant, functional designs for mobile and web
  • Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UIs
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA to ensure seamless implementation of designs
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate and improve designs
  • Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and user-centered design across the product lifecycle
  • Maintain and evolve the product's design system for consistency and scalability
  • Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and emerging technologies, applying them thoughtfully to the product

  • Ability to manage rapid design iterations, changing requirements, context shifting, and balancing diverse needs
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with stakeholders with varying opinions and technical backgrounds; be comfortable engaging in constructive criticism
  • Proactive in identifying UX issues before they become user pain points
  • Ownership mentality with a passion for delivering experiences users love
