I am excited to share a 12-month contract role for a Senior Network Engineer for a large national organization in the mining space in Perth. See below details -
Location: Perth-based
Engagement: 12-month contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday + site travel during delivery phase
Onsite Roster: 2 weeks onsite / 1 week offsite during commissioning
Role Overview -
- Review and provide input on network and firewall design deliverables
- Develop configs across Cisco FTD, ASA and Cisco routing/switching
- Lead/participate in pre-FAT, FAT, SAT and integration testing
- Troubleshoot complex network & firewall issues
- Build, optimize and implement firewall rule sets
- Support onsite implementation and commissioning
Experience & Skills
- Strong experience with Cisco FTD (FMC)
- Background with Cisco ASA, ACLs, NAT, VPNs and migration work
- Solid Cisco R&S skills (VLANs, OSPF/BGP advantageous)
- Experience resolving faults during testing/commissioning
- Comfort working autonomously onsite in remote conditions
- Exposure to FAT/SAT in industrial/heavy industry settings
