We're looking for a Mid-Level Full-stack Engineer (React/Node) to join our growing engineering team. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, collaborating closely with product and design teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions.

About Working At Space Inch
- Our team (70+ people) is primarily based in Croatia, with members in South America, Serbia, and the US. While focus is on working remotely, we do have an office in Zagreb for those who prefer a hybrid approach and are located nearby
- Occasional travel may be required, including annual company retreats in Croatia
- We work on end-to-end projects with long-term vision
- We strongly support work/life balance for our team members
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Full-stack developer
- Strong experience working with Node.js, Typescript & React.js
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Redux or MobX
- Experience with server-side frameworks like Express.js or NestJS, experience with gRPC
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Candidates must be located within the LATAM region
- Design and develop robust and scalable full-stack web applications using React and Node
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Debugging and fixing reported issues in a timely manner
- Balancing delivery speed with technical excellence
- Ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and high performance
- Proactive, solutions-driven mindset
- Strong attention to detail and code quality
- Comfortable making technical decisions independently
- Passion for learning and improving
- Ownership mentality — you care about the end product
- Digital product agencies or consultancies
- Cross-functional product teams building real-world eCommerce platforms
- You thrive in collaborative yet autonomous environments
- You enjoy shaping both frontend and backend architecture, keeping in mind best practices for both
- You value quality and thoughtful delivery over rushing
- If you prefer solely frontend or backend development
- You expect constant supervision or micromanagement
- Competitive salary: $3.000 - $4.500/month for B2B engagement
