We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior System Engineer Architect (Azure Cloud Security) for a long-term contract supporting our US-based client.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Design and implement security solutions Architect and deploy security measures across Azure resources, including network security (e.g., NSGs) and a defense-in-depth strategy
• Identity and access Configure access controls, implement the principle of least privilege
• Establish a Threat Monitoring Solution Develop a solution to monitor the Azure environment for security threats and vulnerabilities, using Azure tools to identify and mitigate risks
• Implement security controls and policies Develop security controls, policies, and best practices to protect data, applications, and infrastructure
• Ensure compliance Implement a security posture to align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational compliance frameworks
• Collaborate with teams Work with IT, development, and project teams to integrate security into the cloud infrastructure lifecycle.
  
  
  

Workplace Remote role based in Latin-America supporting Eastern Timezone working hours

Must Have Skills

• Strong English verbal and written skills
• 5+ years of experience with Azure resources and security
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure, with hands-on experience in secure solutions
• Experience with identity and access management principles and tools (e.g., Azure AD)
• Knowledge of network security principles, including private/public cloud network configurations
• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell)
• Strong experience with security best practices, governance, and compliance frameworks
