Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the Role

We’re hiring a Technical AI Engineer to design, implement, and deploy production-grade ML systems for clients across the Brussels region. You’ll work on end-to-end AI delivery: data pipelines, model development, model serving, and cloud-based deployments.

What You’ll Do

• Build and optimize ML models (NLP, CV, tabular, time series) using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines, data transformations, and feature engineering workflows.
• Develop API-based model serving (FastAPI, Flask) and deploy using Docker, Kubernetes, or managed cloud services.
• Work with AWS, Azure, or GCP to set up training environments, model registries, and monitoring.
• Implement CI/CD for ML (MLflow, DVC, GitHub Actions, Azure ML, SageMaker).
• Integrate models into existing client systems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews, write maintainable production code, and follow engineering best practices.
• Collaborate directly with clients to define architectures and technical requirements.

Your Profile

• 2+ years in AI/ML engineering or applied machine learning.
• Strong Python engineering skills (OOP, testing, clean code).
• Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and data tooling (Pandas, Spark, SQL).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).
• Familiar with cloud ML stacks: Azure ML, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or equivalent.
• Understanding of MLOps principles: model tracking, versioning, monitoring, drift detection.
• Ability to translate solution architecture into clean, deployable production pipelines.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
