The Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help ensure the quality of our cross-border payment solutions. You will work closely with the development team to test both our mobile application (iOS, Android) and backend APIs. The role involves hands-on automation and manual testing to ensure high product quality in a fast-paced environment with many technical challenges.
You will help improve our automated test coverage, validate new features manually, and help maintain high confidence in releases. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful financial products with complex integrations, diverse user needs, and high demands for reliability.

The Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help ensure the quality of our cross-border payment solutions. You will work closely with the development team to test both our mobile application (iOS, Android) and backend APIs. You will help improve our automated test coverage, validate new features manually, and help maintain high confidence in releases. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful financial products with complex integrations, diverse user needs, and high demands for reliability.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for backend APIs, mobile apps (iOS/Android), and integrations.
- Build modular, maintainable test components within our Java/Cucumber/Rest Assured/Appium/Guice framework.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high testability and clear acceptance criteria.
- Work with mock services, handle complex partner integrations, and validate data across distributed systems.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline improvements, and continuous test execution.
- Use AI-driven tools (GPT & Gemini APIs) to enhance automation workflows, data generation, and test analysis.
- Contribute ideas to evolve our QA infrastructure and elevate automation to a true engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and test reporting tools (Allure).
- 4+ years of experience in QA with strong focus on test automation (preferably Java).
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, backend testing, and mobile testing (Appium experience is a big plus).
- Experience with OOP, dependency injection (e.g. Guice or Spring), and test design patterns.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and think like an engineer, not just a tester.
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
- Previous experience in the financial domain.
