As a Fullstack Developer (React/Node) you will help AH to create new applications and migrate old services into a modern innovative technology landscape (React, Node, Azure).
This is how you will reinvent food retail.
- Help rebuild our traditional tech landscape and create new applications in a modern innovative tech foundation (high code front-end) to scale our ever-growing core business.
- Create new solutions for the needs of AH business
- Build code, implement, and execute automated testing, ensure security, code quality, and contribute to best practices and deployment.
- Be a valued team member that contributes and removes obstacles.
- Integrate and expand our presentation and space management capacity.
Your new team and office.
You will be joining the presentation and space development team and working closely together with the other DevOps-engineers/Front end developers in the team, solution consultant and the product owner. As a fullstack developer, you will help the team create a new application that will be the assortment management of AH (and migrate older forms to new technologies). You make an impactful contribution to not only the employees of Albert Heijn, but also the customers who shop at Albert Heijn.
Our teams work in a hybrid way: both from home and in the office. We are next to the train station in Zaandam.

The recipe for maximum impact.
- 5+ years of work experience in Frontend Development.
- You are an expert on React.js , NodeJs, Typescript
- Bonus if you also know about NextJs, Nest
- Bonus if you know about testing frameworks for front end, like Jest or PlayWright
- Knowledge of REST and Cloud (Azure)
- Knowledge of SQL (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiar with Scrum/Agile methodology
- An outstanding command of the English language.
- 24/7 responsible for the application development & Ops
