Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Engineer for our client in The Hague. In this role, you will maintain and enhance the AWS-based environment, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security across all systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a secure, scalable AWS organization supporting multiple environments and tenants.
• Monitor performance and availability of our SaaS cloud infrastructure.
• Keep cloud components (e.g., databases, storage, compute) secure and up to date.
• Recommend and implement improvements to architecture, performance, and security.
• Maintain and enhance the security posture of our AWS organization and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, especially DynamoDB, OpenSearch, S3
• Familiarity with SQS, EventBridge, Lambda
• Experience with AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) using TypeScript.
