As part of the legal team at Zoho, Junior Associate Counsel works to ensure compliance, manage risks, or support business operations.
The specific nature of work assigned to the person depends on various factors, including the candidate's strengths (determined based on training performance) and the team's requirements.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing and drafting agreements for sales, marketing, events, vendor contracts, and terms of purchase.
Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, employment regulations, and tech industry standards.
Handling data privacy matters, property purchases, and contract drafting.
Supporting policy development by conducting research.
1-2 years of experience working in a law firm or an in-house legal team within an international corporate environment, preferably in the IT sector.
Oral and written communication skills in English and French.
Ability to understand and apply concepts and regulations to a particular context.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating legal risks.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized European institution.
Adaptability to work on varied legal tasks based on business needs.
Willingness to learn and follow established legal processes and play books.
Interest in technology, tech laws, and evolving regulatory landscapes.
