We are looking for a service-driven HR professional to join our HR Support Services team in Zurich.
The HR Support Services team provides operational and transactional HR services and support for employees based in Switzerland in their everyday HR matters.
In this role you will be covering HR Support Services with a focus on the on- and offboarding of employees in German-speaking Switzerland.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Ensuring the administrative onboarding of new joiners by issuing employment contracts, obtaining required data including background screening records and assist new joiners with their HR-related queries
- Managing the offboarding of employees by providing required documents and information to employees and line managers, including work certificates
- Maintaining and monitoring complete and correct employee data, payment related information and personnel files
- Dealing with inquiries and providing information and straightforward advice on everyday HR matters, such as benefits and employment conditions, absence, working time, personal changes as first point of contact to employees
- Partnering closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists and HR Consultants in managing HR processes and liaising with operational teams across Human Resources
- Ensure periodic reporting on On-/Offboarding activities
- Acting as deputy to Team Head HR Support Services for all On/Offboarding matters
- Continuous optimization of supporting tools and administrative processes across HR Support Services and participating in HR projects
Personal and Social
- Passionate about administrative employee service
- Natural team player and a strong communicator
- Trustworthy and discreet
- Relevant educational and professional background in HR, further HR specific education such as “Certified HR Specialist with Federal Diploma”
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role (5 years+)
- Skilled in handling high volumes, well organized and able to adapt to changing priorities in daily business
- Knowledge of Swiss Employment Law and Social Insurances
- Confident in dealing with line managers and employees of different hierarchies and personalities in an international environment
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities and a structured approach to work
- Proficient user of Workday and Microsoft office tools (especially Excel)
- Excellent in verbal and written communication in German and English
- Self-reliant way of working and ability to adapt quickly to changes
