A typical day might include the following:

• Deliver and support IT services in Azure IaaS, PaaS and Kubernetes environments;
• Manage application releases and pipelines using Azure DevOps;
• Troubleshoot and resolve third-level incidents;
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to overcome challenges and deliver quality service;
• Understand and manage the architecture of all applications in the portfolio;

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services (Azure Kubernetes Services, App Services, SQL PaaS, Azure Cosmos DB, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Service Bus, Blob Storage);
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft products (SQL Server, IIS, Windows Services) deployed on-premises or in Azure as IaaS.
• Docker, Helm and Kubectl experience is a plus for managing, deploying and troubleshooting AKS environments.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps tools.
• Experience in technical implementation and operation of mission-critical IT services.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills that cover both hosting and functional aspects of an application.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, SSL, load balancers, OpenSSL).
• Experience in technical implementation and operation of mission-critical IT services

• Ability to write T-SQL queries and PowerShell scripts.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools and practices to enhance the release management process.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based frameworks.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Skills in project management frameworks, such as Agile or Scrum.
• Ability to synthesize complex technical issues or requirements in plain language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Quality-focused and calm under pressure.
• Proficient in English.
