We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to manage and secure our data centre infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in FortiGate Firewall, WAF, and ArcSight Logger, along with a strong understanding of network security architecture, threat mitigation, and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortigate Firewall devices and policies.
  • Deploy and maintain Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to protect web assets.
  • Operate and analyse logs using ArcSight Logger and other SIEM tools.
  • Design and implement network security architecture and controls.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, breaches, and anomalies.
  • Maintain secure configurations and perform regular patch management.
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure secure deployments.
  • Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports.


Required skills & Technical attributes:


  • Strong expertise in FortiGate products (NSE4 or higher certification preferred).
  • Experience with WAF technologies (e.g., FortiWeb, Imperva).
  • Proficiency in ArcSight Logger or similar SIEM platforms.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, SSL, IDS/IPS, and Firewall policies.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems, scripting (Python), and automation tools.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6–7 years of experience in network security engineering.
  • Certifications such as CEH, Network+, or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.
  • Experience in data centre environments and high-availability systems.
