Senior Manager, Growth Projects – Advanced Synthesis (80–100%, m/f/d)

A global leader in life sciences is seeking a Senior Manager, Growth Projects – Advanced Synthesis to drive strategic CAPEX and internal improvement projects across its network. This role offers the opportunity to shape project execution practices, enhance operational excellence, and directly support senior leadership in transforming how large-scale projects are delivered.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development and implementation of lean, scalable processes for CAPEX project execution and operational readiness.
• Optimize lifecycle management, training, commissioning/qualification/validation (CQV), and operator engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, embedding best practices into future projects.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and harmonization across Advanced Synthesis sites.
• Contribute to standardized plant and process design for small molecule and drug-linker manufacturing.

What You’ll Bring

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Chemistry, Biologics, or related field.
• 5–10 years’ proven experience in cGMP chemical/biotech pharma engineering and manufacturing.
• Strong track record leading complex projects and cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Analytical, change-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English required; German proficiency a plus.
• LBMS Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
