Android (AOSP) Engineer – Gothenburg (Onsite) – €50–55 p/h | 3 Year Project

We’re supporting a major automotive tech organisation in Gothenburg, and we’re looking for an experienced Android Platform Engineer to join their team on a long term project.

This role is fully hands-on, working on next-generation Android Automotive (AAOS) systems alongside platform, embedded, and firmware specialists.

What You’ll Work On

• Contributing to Android Automotive platform development
• Implementing features across system layers (Framework / HAL)
• Working with internal platform teams to improve performance, reliability, and system behaviour
• Debugging complex, low-level Android issues
• Integrating AOSP components with automotive hardware

Essential Skills

✔ Kotlin & Java

✔ AOSP / Android Framework / Android Platform Development

✔ C++ (system-level development)

✔ VHAL / Vehicle HAL experience

✔ Strong understanding of Android internals, build systems, and debugging tools

Contract Details

• 📍 Location: Onsite in Gothenburg, Sweden
• 💶 Rate: €50–55 per hour (B2B)
• 🗓 Length: 3 years
• 🏢 Work closely with cross-functional automotive engineering teams
