We are looking for a Senior AWS / DevOps Engineer to take technical ownership of a cloud-based workshop platform. You will work at the intersection of platform engineering and DevOps, enabling development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions in an agile environment.

Your Role

You will design, operate, and continuously improve the AWS platform while driving automation, CI/CD excellence, and infrastructure scalability. You’ll collaborate closely with development teams, take part in architectural decisions, and ensure high availability, security, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AWS infrastructure (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, VPC)
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CDK or CloudFormation
• Ensure platform stability, security, compliance, and observability
• Support development teams with deployments, integrations, and automation
• Contribute to architecture, performance tuning, and cost optimization

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS production experience
• Strong knowledge of ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and VPC
• Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CDK or CloudFormation
• Docker and container orchestration
• Scripting with Python or Bash
• Solid understanding of microservices and API integrations
• Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
• Experience in incident handling and performance optimization

Meriting Skills

• Deep AWS CDK knowledge
• Enterprise-scale DevOps experience
• Serverless architectures (Step Functions, EventBridge)
• Angular/TypeScript CI/CD understanding
• Experience as Tech Lead or in Agile leadership roles
• Automotive or workshop systems domain experience
