We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Tester to lead our technology and product initiatives in the payment systems domain. This role combines project execution, product ownership, and leadership of our IT Development team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive testing, document and report defects, and ensure product functionality meets defined requirements.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Apply a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Monitor all stages of the software development lifecycle to identify and resolve issues in order to meet quality standards.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools, automation technologies, and test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications (Selenium, Appium, Playwright, etc.).
• Actively participate in both manual and automation testing processes and expand automation coverage where needed.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in API testing using Postman.
• Deep understanding of various functional testing types (e.g., Regression, Integration, UI, etc.).
• Working knowledge of project management tools such as Jira.
• Experience in writing clear and concise test plans and test cases.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or similar (required or highly preferred depending on your hiring preference).
• Basic to advanced understanding of automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Fluency in Turkish is preferred.
