Responsibilities


  • Monitor, manage, and optimize core network infrastructure across data centers, cloud environments, and customer connectivity points
  • Operate and maintain enterprise routers, switches, load balancers, wireless networks, and network monitoring tools
  • Handle L2/L3 troubleshooting, incident response, and escalation for network performance or availability issues
  • Manage VPN tunnels, MPLS/GRE/IPSec configurations, and inter-site connectivity
  • Perform routine firewall rule updates and network access changes (low-complexity, operational level)
  • Ensure network components align with operational standards, documentation requirements, and basic compliance expectations
  • Support DR site network operations, redundancy planning, and capacity management
  • Maintain accurate network topology, change logs, and configuration inventories
  • Work with cloud and infrastructure teams for new service onboarding, network provisioning, and connectivity testing
  • Assist during audits by providing network operation-related documentation
  • Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement of network operations processes
  • Conduct packet analysis and threat investigation on suspicious activities


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network operations
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, STP, BGP/OSPF, and traffic optimization
  • Experience with enterprise network platforms (Cisco, Juniper, HP/Aruba, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with VPN technologies, IPSec/GRE/MPLS, and load balancing
  • Understanding of network monitoring tools (Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar)
  • Ability to troubleshoot L2/L3 incidents and manage operational changes in a structured environment


Preferred Skills & Certifications


  • CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, JNCIS/JNCIP, or equivalent
  • Basic exposure to firewall operations (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or Check Point)
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and experience working in NOC/SOC/large-scale operations teams
