Senior Java Developer - Abu Dhabi

As a Senior Software Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and related technologies. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions that shape our software ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
  • Implement best practices in software engineering, testing, and deployment
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of professional experience in Java development
  • Strong expertise in Java SE/EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills

🌟 Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and tools
