We are looking for a PHP developer to join the team.

You will have at least 4 years commercial experience in modern PHP development and MVC Frameworks (Laminas, Laravel, Symphony, etc). You’ll be keen to get stuck in to supporting existing client projects and also working on new, greenfield builds.

What you will do:

• Work with a small development team to create new digital products for a range of interesting customers
• Developing bespoke web APIs to be consumed by our frontend applications
• Triaging helpdesk tickets and helping clients with issues or requests for work
• Work on in-house hack projects, which will define the company direction

About you:

• You feel at home in modern PHP 8+
• You have experience with at least one PHP MVC framework, we use Laminas
• Knowledge of using object-oriented principles to solve problems
• You have experience using JSON based RESTful APIs
• You have a solid understanding of Composer and Git

Beneficial skills:

• Experience using Docker
• Full-stack skills (React.js, CSS) would be beneficial but aren't required
• You have an interest in Sysadmin and DevOps. We use AWS along with Kubernetes, and are always on the lookout to help us manage and improve our infrastructure

Please note, you will need to be UK based in order to travel to occasional client meetings and attend in-person team days in our studio.
