Title: Senior Backend Engineer (Python) • Full-Time

About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing SaaS company building AI-powered tools for the enterprise sector, is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to join their engineering team.

You’ll work on designing scalable backend services, improving system performance, and contributing to architecture decisions as the company continues its growth phase.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python
• Create and optimize APIs (REST or GraphQL)
• Work closely with ML, product, and front-end teams
• Improve performance, scalability, and system reliability
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate on architecture and technical roadmap decisions

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong skills in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar)
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or other databases
• Comfort with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure
• Experience building scalable SaaS or distributed systems
• Bonus: experience with ML pipelines, data engineering, or AI-related projects
