Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong understanding of security principles to help maintain and strengthen our security posture. This role will focus primarily on building, managing, and optimizing our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, while also ensuring that security best practices are consistently applied across our systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our SOC 2 compliance efforts and helping us maintain a secure, reliable, and scalable environment for our products and clients.


Responsibilities:

·      Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and infrastructure.

·      Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable cloud environments following DevOps best practices.

·      Integrate automated security scanning and basic compliance checks into CI/CD workflows.

·      Collaborate with Development teams and Data to design and operate secure system architectures.

·      Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and respond to operational incidents.

·      Contribute to infrastructure automation, configuration management, and environment provisioning.

·      Support SOC 2–related operational tasks by maintaining secure configurations and documentation.

·      Evaluate emerging technologies, and tools to proactively improve our DevOp practices and security environment.

·      Act as the primary contact for security-related matters and coordinate communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

·      Maintain and strengthen the company’s security posture through continuous monitoring, risk identification, and incident response.

·      Define, update, and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.

·      Provide ongoing security awareness training and guidance to team members.


Qualifications:

·      Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and core services.

·      Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, etc.).

·      Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

·      Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation).

·      Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python).

·      Experience with observability tooling (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).

·      Knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, routing, DNS, load balancers).

·      Familiarity with secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, Vault).

·      Experience automating environment provisioning and deployments.

·      Understanding of cloud security best practices and least-privilege principles.

·      Experience integrating security scans into CI/CD (SAST, SCA, container scanning).

·      Familiarity with high-availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.

·      Hands-on experience with SOC 2 compliance implementation and audits.

·      Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including pen testing, vulnerability management, and incident response.

·      Familiarity with security tools, frameworks, and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).

·      Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.

·      Expected to be efficient with Linux command line, git, AWS console, various scripting languages.

·      Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, networking, and deployment issues.

·      Ability to collaborate effectively with Development, QA, and Product teams.

·      Experience supporting production environments (incident response, root cause analysis).

·      Comfortable working with agile processes and iterative delivery.
