Our client is seeking a contract based UI/UX Designer to work on their health services platform.
Location: Remote
Duration: 1 year
Responsibilties:
- Lead end-to-end design for web and mobile experiences
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Clinical stakeholders to define user flows, interaction models, and design system patterns.
- Translate research insights and behavioral data into clear, actionable design concepts.
- Create and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that bring product ideas to life.
- Ensure experience consistency and design quality through alignment with design systems, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines.
- Facilitate design critiques, workshops, co-creation sessions, and cross-functional reviews.
- Contribute to the evolution of our design system, advocating for best practices in usability and accessibility.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience, ideally within digital health, SaaS, or complex platform ecosystems.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process, cross-platform design, and experience solving complex problems—showing how you selected the right design activities to address specific challenges.
- Proficiency with Figma and FigJam.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design, WCAG accessibility standards, and usability principles.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams.
- Ability to think strategically about user experience and system-level design.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate rationale and design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Passion for improving health outcomes and creating meaningful, empowering digital experiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for healthcare, telehealth, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with service design, journey mapping, or systems thinking methodologies.
- Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS/React is a plus).
- Experience with concept testing, usability testing, or other user research activities.
- Exposure to data-driven design, behavioral science, or behavior change frameworks.
