About The Opportunity

Netrix Global is seeking a highly skilled Security Advisor to support a diverse set of clients in improving their cybersecurity programs. This role will work closely with an existing team of Senior Security Consultants as part of the CISO Advisory team to develop and implement IT security policies, conduct risk assessments, enhance vulnerability management programs, and provide technical oversight across a diverse technology stack. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced blend of hands-on expertise and strategic planning capabilities, along with a pro-active approach in assisting clients with security initiatives.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Support the execution of security initiatives implemented by the Netrix CISO Advisory Team in alignment with client’s organizational goals.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on best practices for perimeter security (identity protection, securing collaboration platforms, attack surface management), risk management, vulnerability management, end user awareness training and endpoint protection.
  • Assist with Third Party Risk Management programs including vendor risk assessments and onboarding.
  • Assist with client’s user awareness training programs through platforms KnowBe4 or similar.
  • Assist with planning and execution of Incident Response Tabletop Exercises in support of a client’s readiness to respond to security events.
  • Contribute to planning and execution for security tooling transitions across all client’s security stack.
  • Work alongside stakeholders to evaluate and improve the security posture of internal security controls and corporate architecture.
  • Collaborate with client teams on IT and security policy development and implementation.

What You Will Bring To The Table

  • Minimum 3 plus years of experience in a security consulting role, or similar IT operations
  • Certifications: ISC2, SSCP, GIAC GSEC, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, or equivalent
  • Vulnerability Management: Hands-on experience with Nessus, Qualys, or similar.
  • IT Governance: Proven ability to craft and implement IT/security policies.
  • Enterprise Applications: Exposure to working within enterprise systems in a security context.
  • Change Management: Experience working through change management procedures for SMB business or larger.
  • Experience creating and presenting management level presentations summarizing security program activity (monthly, quarterly cadences).
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and executive teams

Not Required, But a Plus:

  • Certifications: CISSP or equivalent (e.g., SANS GIAC, GSEC) a bonus
  • Cloud Security: Experience working with cloud security initiatives across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Previous experience supporting large enterprises or acting in an advisory capacity.
  • Experience identifying threat intel and correlating to vulnerability data in order to assist clients with prioritizing remediation activities.
